Hi, my name is

ASHLEY

LIFESTYLE

STORYTELLER

My images are my story and my inspiration comes from  artists, nature, travel, clothing designers, musicians, and real-life, first-hand experience with what it feels like to love and be loved.

I love to photograph real life and raw emotion, which we call lifestyle. It helps tell the story of your wedding or session in a way that flows so perfectly and naturally in your album. I like to think of you as my next great adventure that I relive through editing to perfection, than hand off to you to retell through photos forever.

I am a free spirit and love being able to be apart of every beautiful beginning. Your love story deserves to be told over and over again; let me help you tell it... <3

The Team

ASHLEY

photographer

Much like my assistant, my journey in Photography began very young as well. In 7th grade, I had joined the camera club, learning about the camera and developing my own film. Fast forward to my 21st birthday, when my husband bought me my very first digital camera and a copy of photoshop. My now 16 year son was just 9 months old and was my muse (of course, who doesn't love to torture their children with a bazillion photo shoots) Within a few years, I had gained traction in the industry by photographing friends and family, moving on to others families and eventually being asked to photograph someone's wedding in 2012. That wedding sparked a passion in the wedding industry & would light a fire in me. This was the start of Ashwood Studios.

EVAN

assistant photographer

At just 14 years old, Evan became an aspiring photographer, just like mom. When mom had a hard time finding a good second shooter, she turned to Evan, who showed great ability in his photo class & he was thrilled to jump in and take on this role. Evan has exceeded all expectations at just a young age and really hones in on the style of the Ashwood Studios brand since 2021, perfectly.

Life is all about people, moments & emotions that we want to hold on to..

When the vows have been said, the cake has been cut and the last song has been danced; You hear their heartbeat, feel the first kicks, decorate their nursery; He has his first bath, has blown her first birthday candle and ride their first school bus; You buy a new home, host your first Christmas, go on an amazing vacation; She enters her final year of youth, he fills out college applications, they toss their ceremony caps; The cycle replays again...

Years down the road, these memories begin to fade.

All it takes is one look back through your photo albums and of those memories will flood back in.

That is what makes me enjoy each and every moment with you and your growing family. To know, when I am long gone, I will have left a tangible mark of joy for generations to come.
